In the Team Floor, Vault and Group sequence competition the u13 team won gold and the u16 team won silver, both fighting off stiff competition from secondary schools across Scotland.
Leah Walsh, Alex Rhinds, Rachael Brown, Christy Ballingall, Erin Nicoll and Aleeza Aslam are busy preparing for the journey down south where they will compete in the Milano Team National Finals next month.
Jennifer Mann, Active Schools Co-ordinator, adds: "The pupils have worked extremely hard for this opportunity, not only training at their weekly after school club which had to spill into lunchtime and after school training but also attending a weekly session with local club, Enigma Gymnastics Club. The commitment and dedication continues over the next few weeks from both pupils and volunteer coaches who are stepping up in preparation for the British Finals. Without such partnerships this result would not have happened”
